Studies show that companies that fail to invest in their people will fall behind.
Coaching is a proven way to protect your #1 asset.
In order for companies to succeed in today’s ever-changing world, they require employees with both talent and a high level of emotional intelligence. Unfortunately, most school’s don’t teach this. And most leaders—and HR departments—are too busy to nurture the very skills that are going to make their lives easier, their teams more effective, and their companies more successful.
The definition of emotional intelligence is:
The ability to understand the way people feel and react and to use this skill to make good judgments and to avoid or solve problems: Individuals with even a small degree of emotional intelligence are a dream to work for.
The ability to understand and control your own feelings, and to understand the feelings of others and react to them in a suitable way: Emotional intelligence is as important as academic intelligence.
This is where I come in.
I work one-on-one with your emerging leaders and other high-potential employees to help them become self- and “other-” aware. I teach them strategies for harnessing their emotions in service of the task at hand and for managing their emotions in difficult situations. They will also learn the skills they need to be able to react productively to the emotions of others—their bosses, peers, and direct reports.
The results? More productive and engaged individuals, happier team members (since their bosses will now be “dreams to work for”), less stress for upper management, and the ability for everyone to focus on company success.
